Terms of Use for VOID

These Terms establish the mandatory rules for access to and use of VOID, including account registration, publication and communication, acceptable conduct, moderation, intellectual property, security and responsibility of Users.

ARTICLE 01

General provisions and scope

This Article identifies the nature, scope and hierarchy of the Terms.

  1. 1.1

    VOID is an independent, non-commercial fan social network available at voidfeed.ru and through applications or interfaces operated under the VOID name.

    1. 1.1.1

      The platform provides technical means for profiles, posts, comments, reactions, subscriptions, direct messages, group chats and other community functions.

    2. 1.1.2

      The availability of a function does not mean that every conceivable use of that function is permitted.

  2. 1.2

    These Terms apply to visitors, registered Users and persons accessing VOID through an authorised application or integration.

    1. 1.2.1

      Special notices displayed within a function supplement these Terms.

    2. 1.2.2

      Where a special notice conflicts with a general provision, the special notice prevails only for the relevant function and only to the extent of that conflict.

  3. 1.3

    The Legal Notice and Disclaimer is incorporated by reference for matters concerning the independent status of VOID, third-party rights and limitations of responsibility.

ARTICLE 02

Acceptance, capacity and minors

Use of VOID requires sufficient legal capacity and informed acceptance of the Terms.

  1. 2.1

    A User confirms that they have the legal capacity required to perform their actions on VOID or have obtained the consent of a lawful representative where such consent is required.

    1. 2.1.1

      A person under fourteen years of age may not independently create or operate an account.

    2. 2.1.2

      A minor must not conceal their age where age is legally relevant to access, consent or protection measures.

  2. 2.2

    A person acting for another person or organisation represents that they are duly authorised to do so.

  3. 2.3

    Acceptance obtained through deception, misuse of another person’s identity or unauthorised access does not legitimise such conduct.

ARTICLE 03

Registration and account security

An account is personal unless VOID expressly provides a different account type.

  1. 3.1

    Registration information must be accurate to the extent required by the relevant form.

    1. 3.1.1

      A username must comply with technical restrictions and must not unlawfully impersonate another person or rights holder.

    2. 3.1.2

      A display name must not create a deliberately false impression of official status, verification or affiliation.

  2. 3.2

    The User must protect the password, email account, recovery links, session data and devices used to access VOID.

    1. 3.2.1

      Credentials must not be sold, transferred, publicly disclosed or entered on an untrusted third-party resource.

    2. 3.2.2

      Suspected compromise must be reported and the password changed without unreasonable delay.

    3. 3.2.3

      Actions performed through an account are presumed to have been performed by its User until credible evidence indicates otherwise.

  3. 3.3

    Creating accounts to evade restrictions, manipulate metrics, mislead Users or reserve identifiers in bad faith is prohibited.

ARTICLE 04

Core duties of Users

Users must act lawfully, in good faith and with reasonable regard for other persons.

  1. 4.1

    A User must comply with applicable law, these Terms, function-specific instructions and lawful requirements of the Administration.

  2. 4.2

    A User must respect the rights, safety and legitimate interests of other Users and third parties.

    1. 4.2.1

      Disagreement, criticism and satire are permitted when they do not become unlawful harassment, threats or targeted abuse.

    2. 4.2.2

      The context, repetition, audience, vulnerability of the affected person and foreseeable consequences may be considered during moderation.

  3. 4.3

    A User must not interfere with another person’s informed choice through fraud, coercion, fabricated evidence or deliberate misrepresentation.

ARTICLE 05

Prohibited content and communications

VOID may not be used to create, store, solicit or distribute unlawful or seriously harmful material.

  1. 5.1

    It is prohibited to publish material that is unlawful under applicable legislation, including material promoting or facilitating criminal activity.

    1. 5.1.1

      This includes terrorism or extremism, unlawful trafficking, instructions intended to enable serious offences and disclosure of legally protected secrets.

    2. 5.1.2

      Artistic, documentary, educational or critical context may be considered but does not automatically make unlawful material permissible.

  2. 5.2

    It is prohibited to threaten violence, encourage suicide or self-harm, glorify cruelty for the purpose of targeted intimidation, or exploit a person in a vulnerable condition.

  3. 5.3

    Sexual exploitation, sexualised material involving minors, grooming and any attempt to obtain intimate material from a minor are strictly prohibited.

  4. 5.4

    Unlawful discrimination, dehumanisation, calls for violence or systematic harassment based on protected or personal characteristics are prohibited.

  5. 5.5

    A User must not publish another person’s private correspondence, credentials, precise location, identity documents, financial data or other non-public information without a lawful basis.

ARTICLE 06

Spam, manipulation and technical abuse

The integrity, security and authentic operation of VOID must not be undermined.

  1. 6.1

    Spam, repeated unsolicited promotion, deceptive links, artificial engagement and coordinated manipulation of likes, subscriptions, comments, examinations or recommendation signals are prohibited.

  2. 6.2

    A User must not deploy malware, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass access controls or interfere with infrastructure.

    1. 6.2.1

      Security research requires prior written authorisation where testing may affect systems, data or Users.

    2. 6.2.2

      Discovery of a vulnerability does not authorise access to unrelated data, persistence, extortion or public disclosure before reasonable remediation.

  3. 6.3

    Automated collection, mass registration, scraping, credential testing and use of unofficial clients are prohibited where they create excessive load, circumvent restrictions or violate rights.

ARTICLE 07

Posts, comments, messages and groups

Communication functions are subject to both general and context-specific standards.

  1. 7.1

    The author must select an audience and privacy setting appropriate to the material and must understand that recipients may copy or redistribute accessible content.

  2. 7.2

    Direct messages and group chats must not be used for harassment, unsolicited mass messaging, fraud or circumvention of public-content restrictions.

    1. 7.2.1

      The absence of public visibility does not exempt private communications from law or these Terms.

    2. 7.2.2

      A group creator or administrator must not knowingly organise a group for prohibited activity.

  3. 7.3

    Mentions, replies and quotations must not be used to mobilise targeted harassment or falsely attribute words to another person.

ARTICLE 08

User Content and intellectual property

Users retain their rights while granting the technical permission needed to operate VOID.

  1. 8.1

    The User represents that publication of User Content does not unlawfully violate copyright, related rights, trade marks, image rights, privacy or contractual restrictions.

  2. 8.2

    By uploading content, the User grants VOID a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission limited to storing, technically processing, transmitting, displaying and adapting file formats as necessary to provide the selected functions.

    1. 8.2.1

      The permission does not transfer authorship or ownership to VOID.

    2. 8.2.2

      The permission continues for retained backups, legal preservation and material that must remain to preserve the integrity of conversations, to the extent permitted by law.

  3. 8.3

    Removal of content does not require third parties who previously copied it outside VOID to delete their independent copies.

ARTICLE 09

Dishonored materials and VOID MOD

Fan materials and modifications are governed by additional cautionary rules.

  1. 9.1

    References to Dishonored and related materials must respect the rights of Arkane Studios, Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Media, Xbox, Microsoft and other lawful rights holders.

  2. 9.2

    VOID MOD is an unofficial fan modification used voluntarily and at the User’s own technical risk.

    1. 9.2.1

      The User must verify compatibility, retain backups and obtain game files from lawful sources.

    2. 9.2.2

      Account credentials stored for the modification must be protected and must not be distributed with an archive, screenshot or diagnostic log.

    3. 9.2.3

      The modification must not be used to falsify profile statistics, gain unauthorised access or interfere with third-party systems.

  3. 9.3

    VOID does not grant any licence to the game, its executable files or third-party assets.

ARTICLE 10

Privacy, personal data and confidentiality

Users must make informed choices about the information they disclose.

  1. 10.1

    A User must not publish sensitive information unless they understand the audience and consequences of disclosure.

  2. 10.2

    VOID may process account, technical, security and activity data to provide functions, maintain sessions, prevent abuse and comply with law.

    1. 10.2.1

      These Terms do not replace a dedicated personal-data or privacy notice where one is legally required.

    2. 10.2.2

      Privacy settings limit ordinary interface visibility but cannot guarantee that an authorised recipient will not copy the material.

  3. 10.3

    Messages must not be assumed to use end-to-end encryption unless VOID expressly states otherwise. Authorised technical access may occur where necessary for delivery, security, backup, moderation or legal compliance.

ARTICLE 11

Moderation, evidence and enforcement measures

Moderation is intended to protect the platform and is proportionate to context and risk.

  1. 11.1

    The Administration may review reports, available content, relevant metadata and technical records to assess a possible violation.

  2. 11.2

    Measures may include warning, reduced visibility, removal, disabling functions, temporary restriction, permanent blocking or preservation of information required by law.

    1. 11.2.1

      Measures may be immediate where delay creates a material security, legal or personal-safety risk.

    2. 11.2.2

      Repeated, coordinated, concealed or retaliatory conduct may justify a more severe measure.

    3. 11.2.3

      The Administration may correct or revoke a measure when new reliable information materially changes the assessment.

  3. 11.3

    The absence of action in one case does not create a right to identical treatment where facts, evidence, risk or applicable requirements differ.

ARTICLE 12

Search, recommendations and notifications

Automated presentation affects visibility but does not constitute endorsement.

  1. 12.1

    Feeds, search and recommendations may use recency, engagement, relationships, privacy settings, moderation signals and other technical factors.

  2. 12.2

    Ranking is not a statement that content is true, lawful, important or approved by VOID.

  3. 12.3

    Push, email, sound and in-site notifications depend on User settings, device permissions and third-party delivery infrastructure and are not guaranteed.

ARTICLE 13

External resources and third-party services

Third-party services remain outside the direct control of VOID.

  1. 13.1

    External links, Ably, Firebase, email providers, application stores and other infrastructure may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices.

  2. 13.2

    A User must independently verify a destination before submitting credentials, installing software or downloading a file.

  3. 13.3

    VOID is not responsible for independent changes, restrictions, outages or actions of a third-party service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

ARTICLE 14

Operation, updates and security

VOID is evolving software provided without a promise of perpetual availability.

  1. 14.1

    The Administration may modify interfaces, limits, algorithms, compatibility, storage rules and available functionality.

  2. 14.2

    Maintenance, attacks, provider failures, legal requirements and force-majeure events may cause interruption or data loss.

  3. 14.3

    Users are responsible for retaining independent copies of material whose loss would be significant and for keeping their applications and devices reasonably secure.

ARTICLE 15

Restriction, deletion and consequences of termination

An account may cease to operate at the initiative of the User or the Administration.

  1. 15.1

    A User may use the available settings to delete an account, subject to identity verification and security waiting periods.

  2. 15.2

    The Administration may restrict or terminate an account for a material or repeated violation, security risk, legal requirement or prolonged technical necessity.

  3. 15.3

    Termination may not immediately remove information that must be retained for legal compliance, security, dispute resolution, backups or integrity of conversations.

    1. 15.3.1

      Public presentation of deleted material may be limited separately from technical retention.

    2. 15.3.2

      Provisions concerning rights, responsibility, evidence and dispute resolution survive termination to the extent required by their nature.

ARTICLE 16

Responsibility and allocation of risk

Responsibility is determined by law, these Terms and the factual conduct of the parties.

  1. 16.1

    The User is responsible for their own conduct, content, credentials, devices and interactions with other persons.

  2. 16.2

    To the maximum extent allowed by law, VOID is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from User Content, third-party conduct, external services, temporary unavailability or circumstances outside reasonable control.

  3. 16.3

    No provision excludes liability or mandatory User rights where exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

ARTICLE 17

Reports, complaints and rights-holder notices

Requests must be specific enough to permit a fair and effective review.

  1. 17.1

    A report should identify the material or account, describe the violation and include relevant evidence without unnecessarily disclosing third-party personal data.

  2. 17.2

    A rights-holder notice should identify the applicant, authority, protected object, disputed material, legal basis and reliable contact details.

  3. 17.3

    Knowingly false, fabricated, abusive or repetitive reports are prohibited and may result in restrictions.

ARTICLE 18

Applicable law, amendments and final provisions

The Terms are interpreted consistently with mandatory applicable law.

  1. 18.1

    Issues not resolved by these Terms are governed by applicable legislation, taking into account the location and legal status of the relevant parties and relationship.

  2. 18.2

    The Administration may amend the Terms prospectively and will publish the current version with an effective date.

    1. 18.2.1

      Material changes may be communicated through the platform where reasonably practicable.

    2. 18.2.2

      Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent recognised by applicable law.

  3. 18.3

    If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective and the affected provision is interpreted as closely as legally possible to its intended purpose.
